Parent Coaching Services

Our polyvagal-informed parent coaching is designed to support caregivers alongside their childโ€™s therapeutic journey. When parents understand the nervous system and how regulation works, theyโ€™re better equipped to meet their child where they areโ€”especially during moments of stress, transition, or emotional overwhelm.

This coaching provides parents with education, practical tools, and compassionate guidance to recognize nervous system cues, respond with attunement, and foster a sense of safety at home. For many families, this work becomes just as impactful as the childโ€™s therapy itselfโ€”creating consistency, confidence, and deeper connection beyond the therapy room.

By supporting parents, we strengthen the entire system around the child.

2 hour-Foundations to Polyvagal-Informed Neurodiversity

Create Yourself Co.โ€™s professional development workshops focus on the neurodiversity paradigm shift aiming to transform how educators, healthcare professionals, and support staff understand, interact with, and support neurodivergent individuals (such as those with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other neurotypes) through the lens of trauma-informed Polyvagal Theory. The profound reflection occurs when we shift from a Pathological lens to a Polyvagal lens and embody co-regulatory practices to promote felt sense of safety and sensational connection.

Custom Professional Development Workshop

At Create Yourself Co., our custom professional development workshops are designed and timed to fit your teamโ€™s unique needsโ€”whether itโ€™s a halfโ€‘day intensive or an ongoing series. Guided by the neurodiversity paradigm shift and a traumaโ€‘informed Polyvagal framework, we replace a Pathological lens with coโ€‘regulatory practices that honor the nervousโ€‘system responses of neurodivergent individuals (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and more). Each session is fully adaptableโ€”content, duration, and pacing can be tailored to ensure your educators, healthcare professionals, and support staff leave with embodied skills to foster genuine safety, connection, and wellโ€‘being.

Polyvagal Educator Coaching

โ€‹โ€‹Polyvagal-Informed Practice Based Coaching for Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) focuses on applying principles from Polyvagal Theory to help educators support students' emotional and social development. Polyvagal Theory, developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, emphasizes the role of the vagus nerve in regulating stress responses and how our autonomic nervous system impacts our emotions, behavior, and social interactions. Polyvagal Theory explains the foundation for the paradigm shift in that behaviors are not maladaptive; they are adaptive survival responses (that are automatic) in maladaptive environments.
